Masterclass with José Maria Mariscal 25 & 26 October 2023

We are happy to welcome José Maria Mariscal for a two days masterclass.
He will come to share his knowledge about throwing and shaping large pieces. Both vases and other forms will be covered.
José Maria Mariscal is a true phenomenon. He learned turning at a vey young age from his father and immersed himself in shaping for years. His signature long-necked vase is simply extraordinary.

José will demonstrate different shapes and you will then use this knowledge to work on your own, under José’s guidance and supervision.

This master class is intended for advanced turners. You can participate if you can easily (and repeatedly) centre 1 kg and use it to raise a cylinder at least 20 cm high.

This workshop will be given in English.
