A 2-night workshop to introduce or improve your skills in making pieces on a pottery wheel. You will learn how to prepare clay, center it, and build it up through demonstrations and personalized practical advice. If you already have basic knowledge, these moments will be an opportunity to progress on new forms or other weights of clay. During this workshop, you will benefit from a total of 6 hours of classes, and places are limited to 10 participants to maximize personal attention. At the end of this workshop, you can come back to glaze your pieces during your glazing sessions.

Schedule: Friday from 6pm to 9:30pm

Saturday from 6pm to 8:30pm

Price: 140€

• Classes are for adults (and teens from 15 years old).
• They are open to students of all levels (unless otherwise specified).
• Classes are also adapted for English-speaking individuals.

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

• An aperitif, consisting of two glasses of wine and small snacks.
• All necessary materials for the creation of your objects.
• Firing and glazing your biggest piece.

If you wish to keep additional pieces, firing costs will be calculated based on their volume (between 3€ and 7€ per piece).

GLAZING

For coloring your pieces, we invite you to attend one of our glazing sessions at least 20 days after the date of your workshop, and within a period of 3 months after it.

We organize glazing sessions three times a week except for holidays and vacations.

~ Tuesdays at 1pm

~ Tuesdays at 7pm

~ Saturdays at 1pm

Glazing sessions are done without appointment but start at precise times in order to benefit from explanations. Plan an average of one hour for glazing.

For storage purposes, after these 3 months, we cannot guarantee finding your creations.

PICK-UP YOUR PIECES

Once you have come to glaze, you must wait another 20 days for your pieces to be fired a second time.

You can then come pick up your pieces during our opening hours.

CANCELLATION AND/OR MAKE-UP POLICY

• Cancellation or rescheduling is possible up to 15 days before your workshop, by sending us an email at info@ceramicstudio.be
